About

Honest protection for game studios.

Bindseal is signed licensing and anti-tamper for PC game studios. It makes piracy slower and more expensive — and it never pretends to make it impossible.

What we stand for

Protection you can be straight about.

Any protection that runs on a player’s machine can eventually be defeated. Our job is to raise the cost and time of a crack, so more of your launch window turns into paid copies — without punishing the players who paid.

01

No false promises.

We don’t sell “uncrackable” or “piracy-proof.” Every protection mode is documented with what it raises the cost of — and what it doesn’t.

02

Paying players come first.

Licenses verify offline and fail open inside a grace window. An outage on our side never bricks a licensed game on a player’s machine.

03

Your keys, your customers.

Export your game’s public trust anchors and license records whenever you want. We don’t hold your data or your customer relationships hostage.

04

No lock-in.

Month to month, cancel any time. When you stop paying, your already-shipped builds keep working — we issue a signed, perpetual release grant that winds protection down cleanly.

How it’s built

Boring where it should be.

Signing

Keys that never leave the HSM

License files are signed with an Ed25519 key held in AWS KMS. The private key is never exported — not to us, not to you, not to disk. Your game only carries the public key.

Licensing

Bound to a machine, verified offline

Machine binding ties an activation to a device; offline grace keeps licensed games running through outages and travel. The JavaScript/Node SDK is available today.

Infrastructure

Hosted in the EU

The hosted license server at api.bindseal.com and its license records run in the EU (Frankfurt). Details are in our Privacy Policy.
